2016年のIFPI（レコード業界の世界連盟）による発表によれば、オンラインストリーミングによる音楽業界の収益は50％にまで上昇し、物品による収益はたったの34％にとどまる。物理的にCDやレコードを所有せずに音楽を楽しむことが可能になり、今日の音楽鑑賞体験は劇的に変化した。しかし一方で、性差別的・女性嫌悪的な語りを含むポピュラーミュージックに対する音楽業界の態度は変化しただろうか？音楽業界におけるジェンダー意識の転換はあるのだろうか？２月のRadio Kosatenではそうした問いを考えるためのヒントになる曲を実際に聴いてポップ・ミュージックのミソジニーを脱構築しうる議論を展開する。

Radio Kosaten - Misogyny in Pop Music
In a global music report by IFPI in 2016, a worldwide federation of recording industry says that the revenue of music through online streaming has gone up to 50% and the physical revenue was only 34%. It means that the consumption of music shifted tremendously from physically buying the record to simply listening the music without possessing the record. This is the trend of music industry today but how about the attitude of music industry in popular music that are sexist and misogynistic? Is there also a paradigm shift in the economy of gender in music industry? This February in Radio Kosaten we will listen to popular music that are sexist and together we will deconstruct misogyny in pop music by building metanarratives surrounding these immaterial commodities.
