東京にはさまざまな言語と文化をもつ人たちが暮らしています。街を歩くと、耳に語源の異なるたくさんの言葉が聞こえてきます。言語を通じて、ちがった視点から世界が見えてきたり、もう一つの価値観が生まれたり、私たちにとって親しみのあるものを別の角度から体験することができます。新しい友だちもできます。mouth to mouth(まうす・とぅ・まうす)は、毎月開催される言語エクスチェンジです。日本語を学びたい人が地元の方から教わることもあれば、ほかの地域の言語や文化に興味のある方が一緒に学ぶ場所でもあります。いつも日本語と英語のスキルを共有していますが、ほかの言語について教えてくださる方も大歓迎です。

Tokyo is the home of people of numerous languages and cultures. As you navigate the city words of eclectic origins will often fall upon your ears. Through language we are given access to another world view, another set of values, another way of experiencing our familiar environment and making new friends. mouth to mouth is a relaxed language exchange salon held each month. It is a chance for people who want to learn Japanese to learn from locals and for those who wish to learn a foreign language to taste words of another culture. There is always an opportunity to share Japanese and English language skills, and those who possess other languages are most welcome to teach their (m)other tongue.
