ペルシャ文化は世界では一番長い歴史のある文化の一つと言われ、知らないところで私たちの生活に影響してきました。最近の政治の動きによって対立や紛争のイメージしか強調されていない状況があるのですが、表面的しか見えないニュースの向こう側では豊かな世界が生きています。今回私たちの友達、イラン出身であるSさんと一緒にKhoresh Badejam, Salad Oliviehや Halvaなど、Sさんの大好きなペルシャ料理を作ってみます。カンパ制になっていますが、カンパを日本で新しい生活を送ろうとしている難民の方へ寄付する予定です。

The ancient Persian culture of Iran is one of the oldest in the world and it has come to impact on our lives in many ways we are unaware of. Recent politics have engulfed Iran in a rhetoric of rivalry and conflict, yet there is a rich world to touch upon beyond the superficial news reports. Our friend Sさん, from Iran, will teach us how to make some of his favorite Persian dishes, including Khoresh Badejam, Salad Olivieh and Halva. All donations will go towards refugees trying to establish a new life in Japan.
